Split Level House

The sun was low in the early morning hours where everything was still wet from the dew that formed throughout the night. A short walk along a long overgrown drive way led us to the front of an abandoned house.

Set back off a busy road sits a Split-Level house that is no longer a home, with the exception of a Squatter whom has or still is taking residence leaves clues that they have been sleeping in the master bedroom. A make-shift bed in the center of the room and water bottles placed on the closet floor.

A God awful stench coming from the upper level bathroom emanating throughout the entire house that literally made us gag, I always come prepared to wear a resperatory mask when venturing into unknown places due to substances such as mold, espestos and other harmful particles that might fill the air.

This sign leads me to believbe that the house sits on protected land

From the condition of the house while touring, it is still structually sound with mostly cosmetic damage. A few holes in the wall, a couple of broken windows and amature grafitti littered the walls from kids who have entered. New cabentrty and renovated bathrooms will need to be done from an ambitious Handyman who can easily accomplish.

Human feces in the bath tub added to the wretched smell that filled the house
