A beautiful and clear day in late March for a walk alone some lonely freight railroad tracks still in operation. It seems inevitable when wandering along such tracks, I will find something of interest to explore. As it never dissappoints I stumble upon something quite large and completely coated with rust. Intriqued, I had to climb a massive mound of gravel and take a closer look. What appeared to be a sand and gravel plant that Apparently been abandoned for quite some time. Everything was completely overgrown and rusted. Scattered about were several trucks, tractors and heavy equipment withering away with time. I later found out that the sand and gravel plant the P. Michelotti Sons Concrete Division Sand and Gravel Plant.
