A late afternoon stroll in October along an overgrown trail with the markings of Deer prints crossing over the trademarks of Quad Cycles. I walk, taking in Mother Nature as I come across an old Jeep CJ5 deep in the brush that apparently someone abandoned quite some time ago. Wading through the tall dried out brush to get a closer look, I was picking up a multitude of Burrs that decided to hitchhike on my jeans and shirt.
Though a lover of Jeeps, I cannot distinguish what year this is because of their slight variations through the decades. Amazingly, the body was in decent shape with minimal dents and could be restored for those who are ambitious to take on the project. The challenge would be getting your vehicle through the narrow, overgrown trails and hauling this gem of a Jeep out of the forest.
I'm still contemplating on figuring on how to save her!
