Hidden away in a bustling section of town there's a wide open space where the Bonsal American Cement Company rests all alone, deteriorating into nothingness. For those who don't know the whereabouts of such an eyesore, they most likely pass by it every day not knowing it's existence.

The cement company stopped operation I believe in 2008 for reasons I do not know. Now a playground for young party goers, graffiti artists and vandals who venture through the chained gate and find their way around spray panting everything that isn't out of reach. For the Urbex enthusiast, it's another haven to explore and take photographs.

The abandoned Bonsal American Cement Company's days are numbered for there is a planned redevelopment for Fullerton Grounds Maintenance headquarters. However, there are complications due to the wetlands, an adjacent pond and the path of where the historical Morris Canal ran. It may take another ten years before this artistic eyesore is demolished.
