The Historic Bethany Chapel better known as the Hamburg Presbyterian Church is a gorgeous all stone Gothic Revival Chapel which was built in 1869. Since February 29, 1980 it has been placed on the New Jersey and U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It's small and quaint setting makes it as beautiful on the inside as it is on the exterior. The Bethany Chapel along with an extremely run down house was up for sale at a modest $185,688. Apparently it has recently been taken off the market for reasons I don't know. The Trust grant funded $12,500 in 1992 for the stabilization of the roof in order to prevent water infiltration and structural failure. Water damaged rafters were repaired, and corroded metal valley flashing was replaced. This is certainly one Chapel that shouldn't go unnoticed as to keep it restored to it's full authenticity and to bring Charm and Grace for many generations to come!
